I have passed this restaurant going to work for a year. Live about half hour away. My husband and I wanted to try something new. We walked into the front bar and were greeted by John who was so welcoming! Ate dinner at the bar. Food was delicious. Fun locals to talk to. John showed us the back bar and restaurant that seemed like a great place to hang out, especially in the nice weather. We will definitely be returning!!! Very recently I had a 104th birthday party for my mom at Villa Fazzolari. Giovanni was a wonderful host. I met him at the restaurant and he helped me to plan the event. A wonderful birthday event with 40 people In attendance. I could not ask for better service, or better quality of food. Our two waitresses, one was Erin, and I forget the other girl's name, but they were on top of their game. All the food came out and the timely fashion, And they made sure that all guests work comfortable and if there were any food allergies they were taking care of. I also need to say that if anybody is interested in Italian rum cake, just for a slight up charge you can get this wonderful Italian rum cake for your dessert. It is made in house! Everybody raved about it, and my mother had two pieces!! So I look at that and she was the final judge and she has bought many of from cakes for all the family birthdays we're at all her years. New post: Pros: Seating was open. Outdoor sitting. Service was still polite from last time I was there. Back are seems popular by the bar. Chocolate cake was ok. Cons: Unfortunately much has changed since last went. The food was overly salty in about every dish. The cream of broccoli, was very ...buttery. drink prices are very high. $7 beer is too much . Spent over $100 for 1 kid and 2 adults. My father who never sends food back , sent back the flounder franchise. My brother took one bite of the tiramisu, and didn't bother finshing. Service was very slow . We were only table out side bar, for a while and took over 2 hours. We had to get up to get someone several times. Shame, and this was for my wife's birthday. Was pretty disappointed. All and all I would not recommend. If I ever go back i would need to forget that last visit. I'm Beef and that's where I was... Unfortunately. Old post: Pros: spacious outside area. Pleasant staff. Food was very good. Good portions. Clean , and interesting decor. Not too noisy. Good soup. Cons : pricier than it should be. Flys . Random outburst from bar area when sports are on. Not very creative desert menu to choose from. Hard bread . Overall: I would go again , ideal for cooler evening maybe .
